As the owner of Higuera Ranch, I usually stay behind the scenes, creating spaces for memories to flourish. Hearing your stories and sharing in your dreams brings me so much joy…

With a background in teaching and ministry, transitioning to hosting destination weddings was quite the pivot! Born in the Midwest and raising my daughters in the Central Valley fostered a deep respect for agriculture. My love of history and connection to the land led to the creation of this beautiful space called Higuera Ranch.

Alexa, Brianna, and Ciara have many childhood memories of “loving the land” as they pulled weeds and shoveled rock. Alexa captured the historic stories of Harold Lowe, Brianna illustrated maps of the Celebration Spaces, and Ciara took the photographs you see in our current marketing. They are now adults creating their own adventures, but I get to “see” them daily through the mark they made at the ranch.

To kick off the year, we had a special elopement at the top of Sunset Hill! My husband Jeff and I exchanged vows on a lovely Saturday afternoon filled with both tears and laughter. Duke and Diesel, the famous ranch jerseys, made a special appearance. Be sure to hike the Back 40 to bring the boys a treat!
